about

Contemporary multimedia artist and designer with a degree in clinical psychology. Works primarily serve as a reflection of the human condition through exploration of topics like human psychology, race, class, queerness and identity.
Beginning as an extension of mindful abstract art practice due to a final semester psychology class, this cathartic experience quickly progressed into a more conscious effort of story telling. Looking at each abstract piece created it brings me directly back to the moment, even able to remember the songs I was listening to while creating the works. The flow of emotion and energy from self into the pastel onto canvas is a process almost spiritual, nothing predetermined and never to be recreated again.

In a reductive sense, my work's subject matter broaches topics of inequality and conflict and humanity. Experience that goes ignored, unmentioned or suppressed often provide the most clarity.
